Helping Pennsylvania School Districts realize new revenue for their budgets by selling delinquent property taxes with our patented tax lien management program.
Stalled PA Budget, Funding Formula Disparities & Depleted Fund Balances Fuel Interest in New Revenue Streams Generated by Tax Lien Management
“Although the Tax Lien Management Program from Municipal Revenue Service (MRS) helps both stable and distressed school districts through tough budget cycles by converting unpaid property taxes into new revenue streams,” states Jim Geronimo, COO at MRS, “we’ve been approached by school districts that have lost most of their fund balance due to PA funding formula disparities and a stalled state budget that’s delaying operational and pension fund payments. Our expertise in brokering solid deals between financial institutions and non-profit entities generates cash for school districts by selling their unpaid property taxes. The need for our services doesn’t look like it’s going to slow down anytime soon. When you take into account fiscal challenges associated with charter schools, pension contributions and delayed reimbursements for construction projects, you begin to see why we’ve helped taxing districts since 2003 with over $400 million in new revenue generated from the sale of tax liens.” Jim also attributes the success of the program to the unwavering commitment to presenting educational seminars year round and statewide. “All interested parties have to do is contact me or Jeff Spaulding, our Director of Business Development and we’ll schedule a seminar for you.”

MRS Exhibits at CCAP Annual Conference and Tradeshow
The MRS program provides 90 cents on the dollar upfront. Your taxing district collects penalties and interest from the delinquent property taxes, so you can realize over 100% of the face value when you stay with the program. Maximize Added Revenue Stream Year After Year Initiating the process, staying with the MRS program or as in the case of Hazelton Area School District, returning to start a new cycle of revenue generation (see below), all these are examples of how the MRS Tax Lien Management Program can be used continuously so your taxing entity can maximize its cash flow, year after year. The No-Obligation Tax Lien Management Seminar MRS makes learning about tax lien management easy.  To schedule a no-obligation educational seminar for  your superintendent, business managers or school  board, call MRS today at 814-476-0400 and ask for Jeff Spaulding or Jim Geronimo.  Visit our website at www.municipalrevenues.com to find  out more. And remember: We’re not tax collectors.  Let’s talk tax lien management soon.
Hazelton Area School District Applauded for Returning to the MRS Program to Generate Instant Revenue
Earlier this year we announced we were working with the Hazelton Area School District, a previous client that decided to team up with us again and reinstate a cash flow stream from the sale of their delinquent property taxes. “We were so glad when they contacted us again, presenting us with an RFP,” says Jeff Spaulding, Director of Business Development at MRS. “It had been several years since we last partnered to generate instant revenue from the sale of their unpaid taxes. Their tax collection is going on uninterrupted, as before,” Jeff explains. “And I can’t seem to state this enough, MRS is not a tax collector.”
MRS would like to thank all attendees that stopped by our booth August 6th & 7th, 2017 at the CCAP Annual Conference and Tradeshow, held at Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, PA. Special thanks goes out to those attendees that brought other county commissioners over to the booth to hear about the program. A truly eye-opening, educational experience, especially when they learned they’re sitting on a dormant asset (tax liens) that can be used to fund land banks immediately, without the need to draw from existing budgets or raise taxes. If you couldn’t attend this year’s CCAP Conference, contact MRS to setup a no-obligation, tax lien management seminar, and learn firsthand about the revenue generating program that not only performs for PA school districts, but for PA counties too.
Helping Pennsylvania Taxing Districts Hit By Unpaid Property Taxes Generate New Revenue For Their Budgets Since 2003
Once again MRS will be exhibiting at the PASA-PSBA School Leadership Conference at the Hershey Lodge. Stop by Booth 215 in the Exhibit Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 from 11AM - 2PM, and on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017 from 10AM -2:30PM. Jim Geronimo, MRS’ Chief Operating Officer, will be on hand to explain how Tax Lien Management works, debunk any misconceptions, answer questions and walk visitors through the process. Jim will also be scheduling MRS Tax Lien Management Seminars across the state, so please tell other school business professionals and school board members to stop by and make arrangements to have MRS swing by your school district as we’re about to embark on another statewide sweep of this no-obligation, educational presentation. Better yet, forward them this electronic newsletter! See you at the PASA-PSBA School Leadership Conference.
MRS to Exhibit at the 2017 PASA-PSBA School Leadership Conference at the Hershey Lodge MRS to Exhibit at The Pennsylvania Municipal League 118th Annual Summit at Erie Bayfront Convention Center, October 6th, 2017
MRS is proud to announce that we will be exhibiting at The Pennsylvania Municipal League 118th Annual Summit at Erie Bayfront Convention Center, October 6th, 2017. MRS Revenue Specialists will be on hand at Booth 124 to answer questions and explain what tax lien management is and how it converts unpaid tax receivables into a positive cash stream that you can use today, rather than waiting 4 years or more to access those funds via the usual tax collection process. You’ll learn how this process works in an unobtrusive way. Since MRS is not a tax collector, your tax collection process continues uninterrupted.  See you there!
