Municipal Revenue
Service (MRS) is
thankful and proud to
announce that 2018
marked 15 years of con-
tinuous success of our
patented tax lien man-
agement program which
provides instant revenue
to taxing districts across
Pennsylvania by selling
their unpaid real estate
taxes. MRS brokers
deals with financial
institutions working in conjunction with non-for-profit
entities. In the past 15 years, school districts across
the commonwealth have benefited from this
program, to a total sum in excess of $500 million.
But enough about us. We want to thank you, the
readers of our newsletters, especially those that
have followed through and contacted MRS to find
out more and arrange one of our tax lien
management seminars so your colleagues can also
learn about it, straight from the source. We also
want to thank school business managers, school
board members, superintendents and county
commissioners that took the time to look into tax
lien management and helped make the decision to
give the MRS program a try. MRS is not only
grateful for the number of new clients we picked up
in 2018, but we want to thank the many existing
clients that decided to stay with MRS and renewed
for another budget cycle. To those that are new to
our tax lien management program, you get 90 cents

on the dollar for your tax liens today, then up to
110 percent of the face value if you stay with the
program as your taxing district keeps any accrued
interest and late fees. But remember, the big deal
is your unpaid property taxes are converted
instantly into revenue instead of waiting 4 years or
more for the collection process (which continues
as usual as MRS is not a tax collector).

MRS Wishes All a Joyous Holiday & Happy New Year as
We Celebrate 15 Years Helping PA Taxing Districts with
Over $500 Million Using Tax Lien Management
Once again MRS exhibited at the PASA-PSBA
School Leadership Conference at the Hershey
Lodge, October 17th & 18th, 2018. Jeff Spaulding,
MRS Director of Business Development, Jim
Geronimo, MRS Chief Operating Officer and Chuck
Herron, MRS CEO, were on hand to explain how
Tax Lien Management works, answered questions
and walked visitors through the process.
“We spoke with many school board members from
around the state and made sure they understood
the basics of MRS Tax Lien Management,” says
MRS Director of Business Development, Jeff
Spaulding. “We reminded them that we’ll be
making another statewide sweep of our no-
obligation seminars that allow more time to
educate school board members and school
business managers about the program. We’ve
already started scheduling, but we want to remind
school board members we spoke with to share
information about MRS with their district’s business
manager. That’s very important.”
MRS would like to thank all attendees that stopped by our
hospitality suite November 18, 2018 at the CCAP Fall
Conference held at the Hotel Hershey. We enjoyed some
good fun, food and drink as we watched the Bears take on
the Vikings.
“We really enjoy attending CCAP events, either as an
exhibitor or as in this case, putting on a hospitality suite,”
explains Jim Geronimo, MRS Chief Operating Officer. “It
gives us a chance to meet with people not always associated
with MRS Tax Lien Management; Pennsylvania County
Commissioners. Sure, we’re known for helping school
districts to generate new revenue fast, but we also perform
the same service to municipalities and counties as well.”
